Instica prepares the report in each jurisdiction's own format. You review and submit it.
Formats
Formats are set up for California CalRecycle CMC with plastic counts, Oregon, Colorado, Minnesota, Maryland, Washington and Maine, each Canadian program, each EU country's declaration and the UK Report Packaging Data file.
Validation
A format is marked verified only once its columns have been checked against the regulator's official template or published specification. Today that is Germany's LUCID volume report, the UK Plastic Packaging Tax return and the UK Report Packaging Data file. Most regulators and schemes have not published an upload layout yet, so their formats are pending: the report page says so and gives the reason, and locking the period seals your figures without preparing a file. You then enter the sealed figures in the regulator's portal. Units, rounding and currency are set per jurisdiction. The jurisdiction guides show which format applies where.
Provisional workbooks
Where an official template is only available inside a regulator's portal, the file Instica prepares is labelled as a preparation workbook and is not the official upload template. The Circular Action Alliance workbook is an example: it is derived from public guidance and you review it before portal submission.
