Getting started

Instica measures your packaging, estimates what you owe and prepares the files. You review, sign and submit them yourself.

What Instica does and does not do

  • It records the weights and materials you measure, with photo evidence for each reading.
  • It estimates your obligations, fees and targets from that data, and labels every figure with its data-quality tier.
  • It prepares the report file, registration data pack or methodology document for each jurisdiction.
  • You review the file, sign it as a named signer and submit it in the regulator's or scheme's own portal. Instica never submits for you and never asks for a portal password.
  • It does not replace your counsel. Where a rule needs interpretation, the checker says so and points to the source.

A first session

  • Run the obligation checker (no account needed at /epr/start) to see which jurisdictions apply to you.
  • Create your entity and brands, then import your catalog and sales from a file. Every connector has a file import that does the same job.
  • Add packaging specs to your SKUs and measure a first sample: weigh each component next to a photo.
  • Open Reports to see how complete each period is and what still needs a measurement or a flag resolved.

Where to go next

Each area of the product has its own guide in this section. The jurisdiction guides list the regulator and source for every program Instica encodes.

Instica measures, estimates and prepares. You review, sign and submit. Nothing here replaces advice from your counsel.
