How proposals work
A vision model narrows the material in steps, from family to specific material, and offers up to three proposals. You pick one or choose another.
When proposals are shown
Proposals appear only while the correct material is in the top three at least 90 percent of the time on a held-out evaluation of at least 500 components across every material family. The evaluation set uses openly licensed images and synthetic renders, labelled without human labellers.
Turning it off
AI assist is a setting. With it off, you choose the material from the taxonomy yourself.
