Labelling requirements
Per component and market: which recyclability claims and marks the attributes support.
Rules covered
- California SB 343 recyclability claims. The check covers only the material-list criterion. It does not check the design-for-recycling criteria, the PFAS limits or the written substantiation. Enforcement is preliminarily enjoined (S.D. Cal., California League of Food Producers v. Bonta, July 14, 2026), and the result says so.
- France Triman and Info-tri marking.
- Other marking rules recorded in the labelling rules data.
Conflicts
A component is flagged when its attributes conflict with the claim or mark, for example a recyclable claim on a component that is not recyclable in that market.
Paid standards
Some laws incorporate a paid standard by reference, such as EN 13432 for compostability. Instica does not reimplement those standards. It stores your certificate and its expiry.
Instica measures, estimates and prepares. You review, sign and submit. Nothing here replaces advice from your counsel.
